Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies for efficient warehouse operations and asset management (Marine Survey / Environmental Consultancy Equipment, vessels, etc).
Control and maximize the utilization of Company-owned assets.
Maintain accurate inventory records of specialized equipment used in Marine Survey and Consultancy projects.
Manage Company asset insurance management.
Coordinate the procurement, receipt, storage, issuance, and receipt of assets and supplies.
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and disposal of company assets in compliance with relevant regulations, calibration certificates and standards.
Develop and enforce warehouse QHSE procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with operations leads to plan equipment mobilization and optimize asset utilization.
Track asset usage and maintenance schedules to maximize asset lifespan and minimize downtime.
Analyze data and generate reports on warehouse and asset performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast future inventory needs and plan accordingly.
Implement sustainable practices in warehouse operations and asset management processes.
Implementation of Lean practices (Ex: 5s, Visual Management, etc.).
Track in and out of rented equipment (including negotiation in case of dispute).
Assist the Heads of Geophysics/Geotechnics in new technologies assessment (AUV, USV, etc.) - Build the business case.
Management of logistics for shipments and permits of equipment (owned and rented).
Assist vessel operation to minimize any downtime including vessel mobilisation.
Carry out other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Candidate Profile
Master's degree specialized in logistics or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse management, asset management, or logistics, preferably in the marine survey or related industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and asset management software is preferred.
Adaptability to manage rapid changes in scheduling.
Coordination of international equipment shipments and receipts.
Knowledge of equipment maintenance requirements and procedures.
Effective communication skills with various departments.
Organizational proficiency in inventory management and storage spaces.
Leadership to manage the warehouse team.
Implementation of sustainable practices in waste management and storage processes.
Good work ethic, communication skills, and attitude.
English mandatory (100%), Spanish desired, French is a plus.
