This organisation is now accelerating its European expansion, transitioning from a partner-led model to building a direct commercial operation on the ground. This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious, well-established MedTech business at a pivotal moment in its European growth. The Role As Regional General Manager for Europe, you will have full ownership of the commercial strategy and P&L across the European region. You will lead and grow a regional sales team, build and optimise a high-quality distributor network, and drive market share growth across key European markets This is both a strategic and hands‑on leadership role, you will be expected to open doors, close deals, and build the foundations of a direct European operation that can scale. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the regional commercial strategy for medical imaging equipment across Europe. Lead, recruit and develop a high‑performing regional sales team, with a focus on building local talent. Build, manage and optimise a network of distributors and channel partners across European markets. Drive key account development and manage relationships with hospital procurement, clinical leads and KOLs. Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments, feeding insights back to global headquarters. Manage the regional budget, control operational costs and optimise inventory structure. Work closely with global HQ to align regional strategy with broader business objectives and product roadmap. The Ideal Candidate Minimum 8 years of progressive sales and commercial leadership experience in medical imaging equipment — CT, MRI, DSA or X‑Ray strongly preferred. Proven track record as a Regional GM, Regional Director or equivalent, with full P&L responsibility across multiple European markets. Experience managing or transitioning from a distributor‑led model to direct sales. Strong existing relationships with key accounts, hospital procurement and clinical stakeholders across Europe. A track record of building and leading high‑performing teams in a cross‑cultural environment. Fluent in English; additional European languages a strong advantage.
