Accounting Lead - Finance Transformation and integration An international company is looking for an experienced Accounting Lead with strong finance transformation experience to join their team. The company has recently acquired a new subsidiary in Spain and is looking for someone with strong Accounting experience including knowledge of local GAAP and regulations to work on the integration of the new acquisition from a finance perspective as well as supporting the migration of ERP and financial systems. Your role: Accounting process analysis and gap-fit between as-is and to-be processes Accounting process migration and supporting the delivery of day-to-day accounting in the existing Spanish entity Support the transition to the Oracle ERP Financial System as the bridge between Finance and IT User Acceptance Testing and supporting training / knowledge transfer for accounting teams Your experience: Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager with prior Finance Transformation experience Strong Accounting expertise and finance process knowledge for Spain Business Analysis and ideally prior finance transformation experience Strong Communication skills and Change Management experience Fluent Spanish and English essential Location: Madrid area, Spain or remote Spain with some business travel Type: Interim Freelance Contractor - long-term contract with possibility to extend This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Lead or Accounting Operations Manager with prior Finance Transformation or Finance Integration experience to take on the next assignment with an international company!
