Opportunity: IT Product Owner – Drug Safety & Regulatory Systems Based in: Barcelona, Spain Working Pattern: Hybrid (on-site & remote) ⏳ Level: Mid–Senior (circa 5–8 years’ experience) Organisation: International pharmaceutical group Position Summary We are seeking a seasoned IT Product / Technical Owner to support a major Life Sciences initiative in Spain. This position centres on the technical stewardship of Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs platforms, with responsibility for application oversight, data structures, and compliance within a highly regulated (GxP) landscape. What You’ll Be Doing Take end-to-end technical responsibility for PV and/or Regulatory Affairs applications Oversee application reliability, compliance, and performance in validated environments Analyse, interpret, and troubleshoot complex data structures to support reporting and operations Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and IT teams on system changes and integrations Operate within structured service management frameworks (incident, change, problem management) Background & Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT roles within pharma or life sciences At least 3 years in a senior technical role (Product Owner, Application Owner, or Technical Lead) supporting PV or RA platforms Practical experience with one or more industry-standard systems, such as: Regulatory & Submissions Platforms ArisGlobal LifeSphere (RIMS) Veeva Vault RIM Freyr RIMS Lorenz docuBridge Ennov RIM Rosetta Viewer Drug Safety & Signal Detection Oracle Argus Safety Empirica Signal Technical Capability Strong Oracle database expertise (PL/SQL, triggers, DB links, schema design) Confident navigating and querying complex application data models Experience with APIs, system-to-system integrations, and hybrid or cloud-based setups Sound knowledge of validation, data integrity, and regulatory compliance (GxP) Familiarity with ITIL-aligned service delivery (ServiceNow exposure advantageous) Interested?
