We are looking for an experienced AIT (Assembly, Integration & Testing) Engineer to support the production and integration of next-generation satellite systems at our Valencia site. This is a hands‑on technical role suited for an engineer with strong expertise in systems engineering, electronics, software, or mechanical integration, who is passionate about working in a high‑reliability aerospace environment and contributing directly to satellite production and testing activities. You will play a key role in supporting satellite assembly, integration, verification, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering and production teams. Your Role Execute hands‑on satellite assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) activities. Support subsystem integration activities and ensure manufacturability, testability, and configuration consistency across builds. Participate in production readiness and design reviews (PRR, CDR) to ensure smooth transition from design into production. Perform and support system‑level verification and validation activities, including functional, environmental, and EMC testing. Troubleshoot integration and testing issues while coordinating with engineering, QA, and production teams. Provide technical support on the production floor, including assembly validation, harness routing, alignment, and test setup execution. Prepare and improve AIT documentation such as integration procedures, test plans, checklists, and configuration records. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, repeatability, and production efficiency. Support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for integration or testing anomalies. Collaborate with global engineering and AIT teams to align on standards, processes, and lessons learned. Mentor and support local engineers and technicians while promoting best practices and a strong quality culture. Your Profile Must Have 5+ years of hands‑on experience in satellite systems development, integration, testing, or production. Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments from a systems engineering perspective. Strong technical knowledge in at least one engineering discipline: mechanical, electronics, RF, or software. System‑level understanding of complex systems and/or satellite architectures. Experience with integration, verification, configuration management, and production ramp‑up processes in complex hardware industries. Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) principles. Ability to identify integration risks and troubleshoot issues across interfaces and subsystems. Hands‑on and proactive problem‑solving approach with experience in root cause analysis. Continuous improvement mindset focused on operational efficiency and reliability. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. Nice to Have Previous experience in the aerospace or space industry. Experience working in high‑reliability production environments. Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving capabilities. High level of ownership, accountability, and execution focus.
