We are looking for Backend Engineers (various levels of seniority) to join an exciting European DeepTech start-up in Zaragoza. They can offer hybrid working (3 days on-site) within a commutable distance.They’re a fast-growing AI & quantum computing company that develops cutting-edge software that boosts performance & efficiency.As a Backend Engineer your skills will include:- - 2–5 years’ experience building and supporting backend services using Python or Go.- Strong grasp of REST or gRPC design principles, including API lifecycle management and performance tuning.- Hands-on experience with Docker and a basic understanding of Kubernetes for scalable deployments.- Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and sound schema design practices.- Experience automating workflows or integrating multiple systems (data pipelines, CI/CD, ML tooling, etc.).- Proficient with Git, test frameworks, and CI/CD platforms such as GitLab or GitHub Actions.- Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud environments.- A product-focused approach, capable of converting research code or prototypes into reliable APIs or microservices.Feel free to also refer someone you may know who could be good for the role.
