Extreme weather events, infrastructure failures and demand growth are increasing the risk of blackouts and raising operational costs.Current grid management systems focus mainly on monitoring and control, but they lack predictive capabilities to anticipate failures and guide mitigation strategies.GRIDWATCH addresses this challenge by transforming data into actionable insights, enabling utilities to plan, respond, recoverand adapt, supporting the full resilience cycle.The TechnologyGRIDWATCH is a predictive monitoring and decision-support platform that integrates multiple data sources (satellite and weather data, grid sensor, operational data and open-source datasets) to improve grid resilienceUsing proprietary AI algorithms, the platform can predict grid failures and overload risks, anticipate the impact of extreme weather events, Identify faults and vulnerabilities in real time and recommend mitigation actions to prevent outagesThe platform is designed to integrate easily with existing grid management systems and operates under a lean and scalable SaaS architectureWhy GRIDWATCHHybrid AI – Phisics based platform combining prediction and mitigation, not just monitoringGrowing market opportunity and high scalabilityStrong relevance for utilities facing increasing climate risks and electrification challengesPay pilot on going with a key player in energy distributionScientific team highly committed with two researchers willing to join the spin-off upon incorporationStrong institutional support (IREC)Your Role as CEO & Co-Founder (Next 6 Months)Developing a robust business and finantial planDefining the go-to-market strategy for utilities and grid operatorsCreating the spin-off structureStructuring pilot projects and early commercial deploymentsBuilding partnerships with utilities, infrastructure operators and technology partnersLeading fundraising efforts (public funding and private investors)Building trust and cohesion with the scientific founders to secure a solid founding team ready to lead a new companyThe OfferRelevant equity as CEO & Co-Founder upon company incorporation€6,000 stipend during validation phase (3 monthly instalments of €2,000)Opportunity to access a participative loan of up to €50,000Access to The Collider venture-building programme, including: KOLs, partnerships, fundraising, business strategy, team formation,spin-off creation and shareholder structuring supportInternational exposure through The Collider ecosystem(4YFN, Mobile World Congress, corporate & investor networks)Coworking space in Barcelona (Tech Barcelona – Pier 01)Two years of post-incorporation venture-builder support, including in-kind services, community access and portfolio perksThis Opportunity Is for You IfYou are an entrepreneur with experience in ClimateTech, EnergyTech, or infrastructure softwarePrevious founder or startup leadership experienceExperience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software is a plusFamiliar with energy utilities, smart grids or infrastructure marketsComfortable leading both business strategy and technology commercializationEligible to work in SpainFluent in English and Spanish (Catalan is a plus)
