Experteer Overview In this role you define and govern the mechanical architecture for next‑gen automotive electronic systems, guiding multiple programs toward robust, manufacturable solutions. You will shape long‑term design strategies and ensure performance, cost, and regulatory compliance across platforms. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you’ll drive reusable concepts and validation for harsh environments, while mentoring engineers and advancing innovations in cooling, sealing, and lightweight design. - Define and govern mechanical architecture strategies for automotive electronic systems (PDUs, ECUs, zonal controllers)
- Lead system‑level design decisions balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, and regulatory requirements
- Develop reusable mechanical concepts, design standards, and validation strategies for harsh automotive environments
- Collaborate with electronics, system architecture, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Mentor senior engineers and drive innovation in materials, cooling solutions, sealing technologies, and lightweight designResponsabilidades
- 12+ years of experience in mechanical design and architecture for automotive electronic systems
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (PhD preferred)
- Strong expertise in thermal management, sealing systems, vibration, and automotive‑grade materials and processes
- Proven experience with system‑level architecture and cross‑functional collaboration in automotive development
- Familiarity with automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, AIAG‑VDA FMEA)
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as CATIA
- Experience with Ansys Simulation Software
