Solution Architect – Azure & Cloud PlatformsSpain (Hybrid) | Madrid or Barcelona – 1 day onsite per weekUp to €70,000 + benefitsA well-established European Financial Services company is expanding its Azure cloud platforms across Europe and is looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to support real delivery, not just high-level design work.This role suits someone who enjoys working close to engineering teams, modernising applications, and seeing solutions go live in a stable, well-funded environment.The role:Design and evolve Azure-based cloud and application architecturesLead the modernisation of legacy applications into cloud-native solutionsWork closely with .NET development teams to ensure designs are practical and scalableProvide architectural guidance and technical direction across multiple delivery teamsUse Azure services such as App Services, Functions, APIs, Event Hub and supporting data servicesWhat they’re looking for:Strong experience designing solutions on Microsoft AzureGood understanding of modern application architectures (microservices, integrations, event-driven systems)Working knowledge of .NET / .NET Core, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developersSome exposure to cloud data platforms is useful, but not essentialFluent English is requiredExperience working in Spanish-speaking teams; German is a plusThis is a long-term opportunity with a European market leader, offering stability, interesting technical challenges, and the chance to influence cloud architecture at scale.
