As part of our growth and structuration around our major industrial building projects as a General Contractor , we are looking for a Design Director for our Madrid office. Reporting to the Regional Director and acting as the guarantor of the entire design phase of our Datacenter building projects , you will lead the multidisciplinary technical design process in collaboration with all associated engineering teams. Working closely with Project Directors and Construction Teams, you ensure a seamless interface between client expectations and the technical reality of the project . Your main responsibilities will include: Participating in project bid preparation and cost estimation phases, Defining the project's technical direction alongside a team of specialists, Leading the design process and establishing a shared technical framework , Identifying, assessing, and managing technical risks in collaboration with the Regional PMO, Coordinating internal and external stakeholders and monitoring deliverables (quality/cost/timeline), Ensuring continuity from design through execution to project delivery, while ensuring compliance with regulations and performance objectives, Capturing feedback and proposing innovative solutions as part of a continuous technology watch. You hold an Engineering degree and have at least 10 years of experience managing multidisciplinary technical studies on building projects involving complex technical systems . Your leadership , rigor , and team spirit make you a key player in structuring and leading project teams. Knowledge of multidisciplinary technical environments (Electrical, Mechanical, CSA…) , analytical project management , and a good level of English are strong assets to succeed in this role.
