Last year, building on the strong foundation of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) as a fund manager, we introduced an optimized CIP Platform, with three platform companies providing services to CIP. In our optimized CIP Platform, CIP Terra Technologies – a project delivery company delivering projects from onshore wind, solar PV and battery energy storage systems, to bioenergy, thermal and transmission infrastructure – is currently looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the team in Madrid. Team The role is part of the wider Flagship Fund Europe team under CIP Terra Technologies and more specifically Finance Management with colleagues across Europe. The Finance Manager position is an integral part of the project teams responsible for delivering the projects in Spain under the Flagship Funds managed by CIP. You will have two reporting lines within CIP Terra Technologies: 1. Senior project team member such as Project CEO and/or CCO2. Functional lead of the Finance Management team Role The Finance Manager will assume overall responsibility for financial management of the designated projects from time to time, including Project Cos, JV Cos and Holding Cos as relevant for each investment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring quality, accuracy and further improvements of the financial management of projects in Spain while ensuring close collaboration with key stakeholders across the CIP platform such as investment team and fund services. Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
- Leading and overseeing all Accounting, Audit, Treasury, liquidity management, Budgeting, Tax, Controlling, Reporting, Compliance and Project Finance / Corporate development functions of the project
- Overseeing financial planning, periodic financial performance and KPIs, and selected business case input for the project
- Supporting and ensuring projects audit activities are carried out in an efficient and timely manner
- Overseeing and maintaining accounting, budget and forecasting, cost controlling and cash forecasting procedures and reporting deliverables for accuracy and completeness
- Managing and overseeing the use of external service providers for selected accounting and finance services
- Supporting M&A and project finance processes on activities such as preparation of due diligence material, debt analysis and partial/full divestment of projects You The ideal candidate will have minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience within financial management and accounting, preferably within the renewable industry and in multinational companies.
