Manage and oversee daily accounting operations- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports- Monitor and analyse accounting data- Coordinate with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes- Support month-end and year-end close processes- Develop and implement effective strategies to optimise efficiency and improve performanceTemporary contract with possibilities to join the company after those months|High level of English is mandatoryA successful GL Accountant should have:- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field- +2 years of experience in Accounting- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamSSC located in Madrid.- Temporary role: maternity leave with possibilities to continue hired after the temporary- Flexible schedule- 3 days/week of homeofficeThe GL Accountant role requires a meticulous individual capable of handling a wide array of financial and accounting tasks in a SSC.
