Title: PMO / Data Domain Owner (Freelance / Contract) Location: Europe (remote/hybrid) Time zone: Must be able to collaborate across EU and US teams Contract: Freelance / contract We are supporting a global organisation in hiring a Data Products PMO / Data Domain Support Consultant to work closely with a senior leader responsible for delivering data products across multiple regions and business units. This role is focused on operational delivery, coordination, and data requirement management . You will act as a key link between business stakeholders and data teams, ensuring that new data sources are successfully integrated into enterprise data products. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can bring structure to complex requirements and drive work forward independently. Key Responsibilities 1. Stakeholder Coordination & Requirements Management Engage with international stakeholders (particularly US-based teams) to: Gather and clarify data requirements Understand business use cases and priorities Translate discussions into clear, structured documentation for data and engineering teams Act as a central point of contact for questions, updates, and alignment Proactively follow up to ensure progress and resolve open items. 2. Data Source Onboarding & Integration Support the onboarding of new data sources into enterprise data platforms Document and manage key information such as: Data ownership Refresh cycles Data structure and usage Ensure new data sources are aligned with existing data architecture and standards Work closely with technical teams to support smooth integration into core data products 3. Data Governance & Data Contracts Collaborate with data governance and platform teams to ensure compliance with organisational standards Support the definition and documentation of data contracts (agreements covering data structure, ownership, and usage) Contribute to maintaining consistent definitions and terminology across data assets Ensure all new data is properly documented and aligned before implementation 4. Operational Delivery & Execution Take ownership of day-to-day coordination and delivery across multiple data initiatives Manage handovers between business stakeholders and technical teams Track progress, follow up on dependencies, and ensure continuous momentum Work independently with minimal supervision while keeping stakeholders informed 5. Unstructured Data & Innovation Initiatives Support initiatives focused on unstructured data (e.g. documents, publications, text-based content) Coordinate requirement gathering and collaboration across multiple business functions Assist in reviewing and structuring unstructured content Contribute to early-stage work on: Text analysis approaches Required Skills & Experience Core Skills Strong experience in PMO, coordination, or operational roles within data or analytics environments Proven ability to work between business stakeholders and technical teams Excellent documentation skills with the ability to structure complex information clearly Strong communication skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams Technical Understanding (Non-Hands-On) Good understanding of: Data products or data platforms Data warehousing concepts Data modelling fundamentals (e.g. Data Vault or similar approaches – preferred but not essential) Ability to engage effectively with data engineers and modellers without being hands-on Experience with data governance frameworks and processes Exposure to data contracts or similar data ownership/definition models Background in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated data environments Familiarity with commercial or customer-related datasets Experience working with unstructured data or AI-related initiatives If you have the skills and experience for this opportunity, then please apply or email Loren your CV today to Loren is a Client Partner at Haybury Search covering Europe, UK, North America and Asia. #J-18808-Ljbffr
