Client: Leading International F&B Retail GroupLa siguiente información ofrece un resumen de las habilidades, cualidades y cualificaciones necesarias para este puesto.Search conducted by Polyglot GroupTheHead of Accountingwill oversee the full accounting function, ensure full compliance with local statutory and tax regulations, and deliver accurate financial reporting to Group headquarters.The ideal candidate is technically strong, proactive, and comfortable leading a team in a dynamic, multi‑site environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the accounting department, providing guidance, coaching, and development to the team.Oversee the complete accounting cycle (AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, provisions, accruals).Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.Prepare and deliver Group financial reporting packages in English.Ensure compliance with Spanish GAAP and relevant tax and regulatory obligations.Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and consultants.Oversee tax filings (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and other local obligations).Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve accounting procedures and systems.Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with FP&A and management.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting, including team leadership.Experience inretail, hospitality, or food & beverageenvironments is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP and local tax regulations.Experience reporting to international headquarters.Fluency inEnglish and Spanish(written and spoken).Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.Proactive communicator with proven leadership capabilities.What We OfferOpportunity to join a rapidly expanding international brand.A strategic and highly visible leadership role in the Spanish organisation.Competitive compensation package aligned with experience.A dynamic and collaborative work environment.If you are looking to take the next step in your career within a growing international company, we encourage you to apply and contribute to this organisation’s success story. xcskxlj If you know someone who might be interested, please feel free to share this opportunity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
