Head of Digital AssetsLocation: Boadilla del Monte, SpainResponsibilitiesLead a team of Digital Assets Product Owners focused on the business case, design, deployment, approval, scale‐up and measurement of digital assets solutions for Corporate, Financial Institutions, NBFIs, VASP and other Group segments.Drive the digital assets strategy for GTB, applying digital assets to a full range of cash management solutions (Payments, Liquidity, Treasury, Cashpooling, Accounts, Channels, Network Management, Supply Chain Finance, Receivables, Confirming) and exploring tokenized deposits, stablecoins, reserve‐backed digital currencies and other tokenized assets.Provide governance and reporting to senior management and stakeholders (SCIB & Group), delivering OKR information, P&L forecasting, book‐of‐work status, capex & opex, risk, compliance and legal metrics.Client‐facing engagement: collaborate with front‐office teams, understand client requirements, translate them into product design, roadmap and delivery, and participate in RFP proposals.Collaborate with product and sales directors across management teams to deliver cross‐functional solutions, adapting existing products to segments such as VASPs and PSPs requiring high compliance control.Represent Santander at digital assets industry forums and consortiums focused on market standards and solutions.Requirements5–7 years combined experience as Product Owner / Manager / Director (required)3+ years hands‐on experience delivering digital assets / crypto / DLT products (required)Business or technology‐based degree (required); focus on strategy, product, engineering, finance, economics beneficialFluency in English (required)Deep knowledge of digital assets fundamentals, technology, compliance, and legal perspective (required)Proven product ownership and management of product owners (required)Solid understanding of banking products and processes (required)Product design and new product delivery experience with recognised methodologies (required)Project management and prioritisation skills, with demonstrated delivery of projects and initiatives (required)Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word (required)Soft skills: passionate, self‐motivated, able to translate client requirements into measurable product outcomes, and thrive in a dynamic, fast‐paced, delivery‐focused environmentTravel may be required (global)BenefitsCompetitive salary with performance‐based bonusesGlobal career opportunities and extensive learning platforms, including Santander Open AcademyPreferential banking terms, special loan rates, life insurance and other financial advantagesWell‐being programmes via BeHealthy, gym and WellHub memberships, medical centres, meal subsidies, parking and shuttle servicesFamily‐friendly support: childcare, legal, emotional and administrative advisory services for employees and families (Santander Contigo)Exclusive discounts and offers for employeesEqual OpportunitySantander is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible application process for all candidates and affirms equal opportunities regardless of age, gender, disability, civil status, race, religion or sexual orientation.ApplicationIf you are interested in this role, please apply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
