We have partnered up with a fast-growing FinTech company on a mission to transform how individuals and businesses manage money. Now looking for an exceptional Senior Engineering Manager/ Head of Engineering to lead our engineering organisation, scale their technology platform, and help shape the next phase of our journey.
The Role
You will be responsible for the overall engineering strategy, team leadership, and technical delivery across our platform. You will work closely with the CTO, Product, and executive leadership to build scalable systems, grow a high-performing engineering team, and deliver reliable, secure financial products.
This role combines technical leadership, people management, and strategic execution.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with company goals.
Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team.
Drive best practices in architecture, scalability, reliability, and security.
Partner closely with Product, Data, and Design teams to deliver impactful features.
Establish strong engineering processes, standards, and culture.
Oversee platform performance, technical roadmap, and system architecture.
Ensure compliance with FinTech security and regulatory requirements.
Manage engineering managers and senior technical leaders.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in software engineering.
3+ years in a senior leadership role (Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, etc
Experience building and scaling high-availability platforms.
Proven ability to build, mentor, and retain high-performing teams.
Strong collaboration with product and business stakeholders.
Background in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
