Head of Self-Serve GrowthBarcelona (hybrid) · Full-time2.1 million hospitality professionals. A self-service checkout that went live in August and is already selling. We're looking for the person who turns self-service into the way hospitality hires, with AI doing the work of a team.Pay:Competitive base + bonus + employee share plan participationStart:November 2026Reports to:Chief Revenue OfficerThe opportunityThe company is buildsing the talent marketplace for hospitality: 2.1 million registered professionals, a network of about 400 hotel schools, and employers from independent restaurants to international hotel groups. Alongside the marketplace we build AI hiring software whose pre-screening ranks every applicant in the employer's own tone of voice. For fifteen years, there was no way for employers to buy on their own. Since mid-August 2026 they can: at our online checkout an employer buys a job slot or a monthly subscription and goes live without speaking to anyone. With no paid marketing behind it, employers are already finding us and buying.Because our sales and job distribution are now fully digital, an employer anywhere can buy from us online. We have a clear go-to-market plan, and geography is no longer a constraint, which makes self-service one of the biggest growth levers in the company.Your job is to turn that organic start into exponential growth.Self-service reaches the long tail no sales team can reach economically: the independent restaurant, the boutique hotel, the bar that needs a chef this week. You own this line end to end, with a budget, our in-house tech team behind you and direct access to the CEO.What you will ownSelf-service revenue for marketplace job slots and subscriptions, and for our AI hiring software, from first visit to renewal.Decisions from data. You implement analytics across the platform, draw conclusions from what employers actually do, and remove friction step by step to lift conversion and adoption, for job slot self-service and for self-service of our AI hiring software (ATS). Making the product as intuitive as possible is a combined effort: fixing what the data shows with our in-house tech team, and listening closely to customers. The funnel, and you ship. You don't brief and wait: with AI coding, design and automation tools, you build landing pages, onboarding steps, emails and tests yourself. First milestone: flows live for January, when our rebuilt marketplace launches for hospitality's main hiring season.Agents, not headcount. You design and run the AI agents that do what a bigger team would: helping a first‑time employer write and price a job, onboarding, support and win‑back. You decide what stays human.Hand in hand with marketing. You work closely with marketing on the campaigns that bring employers to self‑service: one plan, coordinated launches, and every campaign optimised for the highest conversion. Paid search and social, SEO, and the AI assistants where more and more buyers now start; spend scales on measured cost per purchase, market by market, wherever employers are.Activation and retention. You own time to first qualified applicant, the move from one‑off slot to subscription and from monthly to annual, and the cancellation and win‑back flows.Selling AI, honestly. Most of our buyers have never bought software. You explain AI pre‑screening in plain words and build the transparency EU rules expect of hiring AI into the flow. Pricing and packaging are yours too.Hand in hand with sales.Self‑service customers are a big part of the top of the funnel for our sales team:the employers who grow into larger clients and take on our broader product range. With our CRO you agree which accounts the product closes on its own and which pass to sales, and when, so both channels grow together. The numbers.Conversion at every step, cost per purchase, payback and churn, every month. What's hardSmall numbers:dozens of purchases a week, not thousands. You'll decide with judgment and customer conversations, not textbook A/B tests.A short runway:the rebuilt marketplace goes live in January. You have weeks, not quarters.A lean team:you'll do most of the work yourself, with AI and the backing of our in-house tech team. We're a technology company: we build everything in-house and ship fast. Two channels, one market:self‑service and sales serve the same employers, so the hand‑offs have to be right. What success looks likeIn 90 days:the full funnel measured, with a baseline for every step; the biggest friction fixed and onboarding, lifecycle and support agents live for January; a first read on cost per purchase by channel and market; rules of engagement agreed with sales. In 12 months:self‑service growing month on month at a cost per purchase that pays back within a few months; subscriptions and annual plans a rising share of purchases; churn falling quarter on quarter; customers upgrading to AI pre‑screening.Who you areYou've moved a self‑serve revenue number for small‑business buyers (SaaS, marketplace or e‑commerce) and can show the before, the after and what you personally did. We care about the evidence, not the years. You build checkouts, onboarding and lifecycle flows yourself, today with AI tools. You've put AI agents into real work and know where they fail. You're fluent in acquisition economics, including how buyers now find vendors through AI assistants. You make decisions from data: you've implemented product analytics yourself, turned what it showed into changes that lifted conversion, and know how to learn when volumes are small. You work closely with marketing and sales: you've run campaigns together with marketing and fed qualified accounts to a sales team.Fluent English.Nice to have:frontline small‑business customers (restaurants, hotels, retail); job boards, HR tech ormarketplaces; a move from sales‑led to self‑serve, seen from the inside. This role is notA performance‑marketing role, a brand or content role, or a strategy role that hands plans to others. What we offerA competitive base salary, plus a bonus tied to self‑service revenueParticipation in our employee share planA budget for the AI tools you work withFull ownership of a revenue line, direct access to the CEO, and an in-house tech team that ships fastHybrid working from our office in BarcelonaWe hire on evidence, and we welcome applicants from every background.#J-18808-Ljbffr
