If you are a dynamic andbusiness-oriented legal professional who thrives in both leadershipand operational roles, we invite you to apply and contribute toshaping the future of our company.Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Team Leadership & Operations:Ensure the Legal team works efficiently, providinghigh-quality and business-oriented legal support.Manageand develop the legal team, fostering a proactive and solution-drivenlegal culture.Actively contribute to operational legalwork, taking a hands-on approach to legal matters rather than solelymanaging the team.Contract Management &Negotiation:Draft, review, validate, andnegotiate contracts, ensuring they align with business needs andregulatory requirements.Ensure that all legal agreements,templates, and documents are up to date and compliant with statutorylaws.Support business units in commercial contractnegotiations, mitigating legal risks while enabling business growth.Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across all businessactivities.Ensure compliance with applicable laws,industry regulations, and corporate policies, particularly within thefinancial services sector.Provide legal insights intocompany policies and procedures, ensuring they align with legal andregulatory obligations.Regulatory & FinancialServices Compliance:Provide pragmatic,multi-jurisdictional, and commercially driven legal advice within thecomplex regulatory environment of financial services.Advise on financial services regulations impacting the business,ensuring the company operates within compliance frameworks.Business & Employment Law Advisory:Offerlegal counsel to all operational business units on general legal,commercial, and regulatory matters.Advise on corporategovernance, M&A transactions, and investment rounds, ensuring legalcompliance in all commercial operations.Provide guidanceon employment law in different jurisdictions (contracts, amendments,compliance with foreign requirements).Assist and adviseon potential labor disputes, employee conflicts, and employmentlitigation.Legal Training & Internal Processes:Develop and implement legal training programs forinternal teams to ensure awareness of legal risks and compliancerequirements.Establish and oversee legal processes toenhance efficiency and legal risk management within the organization.Act as a strategic partner to management, guiding them onbest legal practices for business operations.Managelitigation matters, including corporate, commercial, andemployment-related disputes.Collaborate with externallegal counsel when necessary and ensure the company’s legal interestsare protected.Report on legal activities, risks, andlitigation to senior management and key stakeholders.Legal Team Recruitment & Development:Leadrecruitment efforts for the Legal department, ensuring the attractionand retention of top legal talent.Develop teammembers' skills and expertise through mentorship and continuoustraining.Position RequirementsEducation & Experience:Master’s degree inLaw (Corporate, Business, or Financial Law specialization preferred).At least 8-10 years of experience in a legal role, ideallywithin the financial services, payments, or fintech industry.Experience working in a multi-jurisdictional legalenvironment, particularly within France and Spain.Proventrack record of managing legal operations in a high-growth, regulatedbusiness environment.Technical & LegalExpertise:Strong expertise in corporate,commercial, and financial regulatory law.In-depthknowledge of employment law across multiple jurisdictions.Experience in contract negotiation, M&A transactions, and corporategovernance.Strong understanding of financial servicesregulations and compliance requirements.Knowledge oflitigation, dispute resolution, and legal risk mitigation strategies.Hands-on Approach:Not just a legal manager but an operationalleader who actively contributes to legal matters.Leadership & Influence:Ability to lead, inspire, and develop ahigh-performing legal team.Business Orientation: Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance riskmanagement with business growth objectives.Problem-Solving & Decision Making:Ability to provide pragmaticand business-oriented legal solutions in complex environments.Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills:Strong ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders,including regulators and senior executives.Fluent inFrench and English; Spanish is a strong plus.Private Health Insurance38 working hours per weekFree fruits &Coffee in the officePermanent ContractChallenging projects: With us, you will have the chance to participatein a variety of technical projects amongst passionate and skilledcolleaguesFree languages courses: learn Spanish, French orimprove your English skills at your disposalLearningSolutions According to your needsEvents: we do believe inthe importance of meeting our colleagues in an informal and naturalenvironment to build connections between UK & France & Spain.
