Come explore Novanta.SummaryThis job is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of tactical human resources objectives and goals, including annual cycle process and special programs and projects. This role will consult with local managers and supervisors on people processes and procedures, provide guidance on employee relations matters, work to ensure standards for human resources service delivery and serve as the HRIS administrator.Primary Responsibilities- Executes all site day to day staffing, talent management and employee relations for the site/plant.- Ensure timely and accurate information and data flow into HRIS system to drive SOX and functional compliance and overall HR data integrity- Effectively coordinates and executes human resources processes and programs to ensure human resources service delivery standards to employees are met. Processes may include, onboarding, handling employee inquires, organization announcements, preparing employee documents (offer letters, employment contracts, etc.), facilitating employee exits, providing recruiting support, time recording, training administration, etc.- Serves as a respected member of local HR team providing guidance and direction on human resources matters to employees and supervisors.- Identifies ways to improve HR policies and procedures.- Ensures that tasks and assignments are completed while maintaining a high level of quality and service for internal customers.- Acts as a welcoming ambassador for employee relations by staying informed of labor laws, company policies, procedures and having the ability to answer questions for employees.General tasks- Maintain compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.- Implement the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.- 3-5 years of human resource experience preferred.- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.- Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.Travel Requirements- Less than 5%Physical Requirements- Mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.- Ability to use vison to read computer screen and read printed materials.Please call +1 781-266-5700 if you need a disability accommodation for any part of the employment process.
