Overview
Como Ingeniero dentro del departamento de mecánica tendrá que realizar varias funciones, tales como: Supervisión y seguimiento de trabajos y proyectos en campo y taller, elaboración de informes, administración técnica, interpretación de planos y esquemas, asistencia al jefe del Departamento de Mecánica.
As Mechanical Engineer you’ll be part of the mechanical department and report to the Mechanical Manager. You’ll have to carry out following functions, amongst others: To supervise and follow up works in progress in the workshop and in the field. To prepare Service and Workshop reports, Technical administrative tasks, drawing and schemes understanding, any other task assigned by the Mechanical Manager. Leading teams.
Responsibilities

Supervise and assist in the resolution of problems technical of preventive but also corrective in marine and terrestrial equipment such as 2 and 4 stroke engines, separators, coolers, compressors, winches, gearboxes, hydraulic cylinders, etc.
Supervise and troubleshoot preventive and corrective maintenance of marine and industrial 2 and 4 stroke diesel engines, separators, coolers, compressors, winches, gearboxes, hydraulic cylinders, etc.
Lead teams.

Qualifications

Formación en licenciatura en máquinas navales (1er Oficial de Máquinas preferiblemente con experiencia a bordo de buque de potencia superior a 3000kW) diplomatura o grado de Ingeniería Naval o Mecánica.
Experiencia mínima de 5 años en talleres sector naval, astilleros o como oficial de máquinas.
Experiencia en reparaciones de motores diésel navales.
Nivel medio de Inglés.
Marine Engineer (2nd Engineer on board Cargo Ships above 3000kW power) or Mechanical or with Experience with above mentioned jobs.
5+ years of Experience either on board ships or within naval repairs.
Experience with diesel engines.
Able to read and understand manuals and drawings.
Leadership skills.
Good English Level. At least basic level of Spanish is needed.
