We are looking for a highly motivated IT Business Analyst to join our Innovation Excellence team and play a key role in transforming the digital experience across our global R&D organization.In this role, you will work at the intersection of science, technology, and business, partnering with scientists, laboratory leaders, product teams, and technical experts to identify challenges, uncover opportunities, and deliver digital solutions that create measurable business value. You will help shape the future of laboratory operations by translating complex needs into scalable, user-focused solutions powered by modern technologies, data, AI, and agile ways of working.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing stakeholders, and driving innovation in a globally connected scientific environment.What You’ll DoDrive Discovery and Business Value- Partner with scientists, lab managers, and business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and uncover high-value digital solutions.- Lead workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to map current processes, define future-state capabilities, and prioritize business needs.- Translate complex laboratory workflows into clear requirements, user stories, process maps, and MVP-focused solution concepts.- Ensure every solution is grounded in business outcomes, user experience, and measurable impact.Shape Innovative Digital Solutions- Collaborate with architects, developers, vendors, and program teams to design scalable and fit-for-purpose solutions for R&D environments.- Evaluate options, challenge assumptions, and help define the optimal path forward from both a business and technical perspective.- Prioritize features and enhancements using business value, feasibility, user adoption, and speed-to-value principles.- Support rapid experimentation, prototyping, and iterative development to accelerate learning and innovation.Champion User Adoption and Continuous Improvement- Define acceptance criteria and guide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business expectations.- Gather feedback from pilots and end users, turning insights into meaningful enhancements and improved user experiences.- Leverage modern tools such as Copilot, Power Platform, and AI-enabled prototyping technologies to validate ideas quickly.- Support change management, training, communications, and adoption activities that enable sustainable business transformation.- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, where every deployment becomes the starting point for future innovation.Build Digital Excellence Across R&D- Develop expertise in laboratory processes, scientific data flows, and digital platforms that support innovation.- Analyze process and system interactions across technologies such as Uncountable, ELN, SAP, IP21, LIMS, and related R&D ecosystems.- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions are scalable, modular, and designed for long-term success.- Serve as a trusted partner between business and technology, helping bridge scientific needs with digital possibilities.What You BringRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.- Experience in business analysis, product-focused solution design, requirements management, process improvement, or digital transformation initiatives.- Fluent in English.- Strong ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and translate business challenges into actionable solutions.- Analytical mindset with excellent facilitation, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Experience supporting digital platforms, systems implementations, or process optimization programs in complex environments.- Curiosity for understanding scientific or laboratory operations and identifying opportunities for technology-driven improvement.- Familiarity with agile delivery approaches and iterative solution development.Preferred Qualifications- Experience in R&D, laboratory, manufacturing, engineering, or other technology-driven environments.- Knowledge of platforms such as Uncountable, ELN, LIMS, SAP, IP21, or similar enterprise and scientific systems.- Experience leveraging AI-enabled productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or related technologies.- Product ownership, Agile, Scrum, or Certified Product Owner training/certification.- Passion for innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.#LI-SG1DuPont is an equal opportunity employer.
