About the Opportunity You will work in the Everyday Banking domain, within the Payments Team. This is where all payment and card transactions are being managed and processed by modern & high-volume systems that power the best customer experience possible. These teams make banking easy, reliable, seamless and secure - everyday for every customer. This is a hybrid role from Barcelona or Berlin. Our cross-functional teams are passionate about collaboration and sharing knowledge, as well as working with a high degree of autonomy. As an iOS Engineer at N26, you will be encouraged to embrace the latest technological updates and given a platform to work on complex, interesting problems on a daily basis. In this role, you will: Work in cross-functional teams, understand how the entire puzzle fits together instead of just being a solitary piece Take ownership and have an impact on the product Ask "Why?" and be prepared to be asked, "What do you think about it?" Engage in knowledge-sharing within your team as well as beyond Understand and work with Agile development methodologies What you need to be successful: Thorough experience with the Android Platform and Material Design principles Experience with Kotlin Experience with Reactive programming - Kotlin Flows and Coroutines Able to build software with a focus on testability - Test/Behaviour Driven Development, Dependency Injection Experience with Jetpack Compose (nice to have) Skills: Be highly motivated and a fast learner Strong bias for action, and getting things done Language Skills: full professional proficiency in English Traits: Strong call to action and for getting things done Motivation to write code which is well-tested and well-documented Give and receive open, direct and timely feedback What's in it for you: Accelerate your career growth by joining one of Europe's most talked about disruptors .
