Junior ILS Specialist – Defence Sector At ORTEC ENGINEERING SPAIN , we are strengthening our teams to support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities within the defence sector . We are looking for junior profiles interested in developing a long-term professional career in engineering, technical data and maintenance support, within an international and highly specialized environment. ORTEC ENGINEERING is the engineering subsidiary of ORTEC GROUP, a European leader in design, engineering, integrated product support, risk management and project management . The ORTEC branch in Spain is specialized in engineering services, maintenance engineering, Integrated Logistics Support, supportability, reliability and maintainability engineering, as well as technical documentation and translations. Our teams deliver engineering services for major European aerospace and defence customers, using recognized industry methodologies and standards. Job Description As part of our Production / Technical Data team , you will support ILS activities for land or aerospace defence systems, contributing to the development of technical data, maintenance documentation and logistics support analyses . Your main responsibilities will include: Development and update of maintenance manuals and technical documentation. Support to ILS studies, including configuration management, reliability, maintainability, availability and life-cycle cost analyses. Application of S-Series specifications (S1000D, S2000M, S3000L) and legacy standards such as MIL-STD-1388. Analysis of technical drawings, source data and supplier documentation. Ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards, customer requirements and project milestones. Profile In addition to experience in the activities described above, we are looking for candidates with the following profile: Technical degree in Engineering or related technical fields. Knowledge or initial experience in maintenance of mechanical, automotive or electromechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Good level of English (minimum B2). Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge of XML editing will be considered an asset.
