Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Kafka Platform Lead to take ownership of our event streaming platform operations. You will be responsible for ensuring platform governance, scalability, performance, and security, while providing technical leadership across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the event streaming platform operations
Define and enforce platform governance policies
Lead architecture design, scaling, and resilience efforts
Oversee technical operations including performance tuning and security
Make operational and strategic decisions for the platform
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on platform optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Deep expertise with Kafka and/or Confluent platforms
Experience designing, scaling, and operating event-streaming platforms
Strong understanding of cluster architecture, resilience, and performance tuning
Knowledge of platform security best practices
Ability to lead platform governance and make operational decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading platform or engineering teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
