Experteer Overview
In this role you will help shape the Android Automotive experience by developing and refining framework components for IVI systems. You’ll collaborate with system engineers, product owners, designers, and QA to translate requirements into robust features. You’ll work in an agile, large-team environment that emphasizes CI/CD and open-source alignment, extending deployment into vehicles. Your impact spans performance, reliability, and the overall user experience of the IVI stack.

• Collaborate with an end-to-end team including system engineers, product owners, designers, backend teams, and QA
• Implement, test, and refine features for the Android Automotive-based application stack
• Translate requirements from Product Managers and UI/UX designers into technical solutions
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and performance issues
• Maintain and enhance codebase health through refactoring and optimization
Responsabilidades
• Advanced Android development expertise with proven success in delivering mobile applications
• Kotlin and Java proficiency across application and framework layers
• Deep experience with Android Framework and Automotive components (AudioFlinger, MediaSession, AudioManager, CarAudio)
• Strong command of Android system services, Binder IPC, and multi-process communication
• Experience with debugging/profiling tools (adb, systrace, dumpsys, logcat)
• Knowledge of Android Architecture Components and design patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, SOLID)
• Understanding of Android system internals (process lifecycle, memory management, security, permissions)
• Practical skills with Android Studio, Gradle, Git, Linux internals, SELinux, embedded systems
• Experience with AAOS application models, HMI constraints, Car APIs
• Soft skills: problem-solving, performant debugging, collaboration in distributed teams
