Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead the design and implementation of protection and control algorithms for power systems, bridging theory with real-world applications. You will collaborate with product teams to shape GE Vernova’s digital substation technology and drive impactful protection solutions at scale. You’ll perform proof-of-concept studies, analyze incidents, and contribute to IP through patentable innovations. This position offers a chance to influence grid modernization and sustainability in a cross-functional environment.

Responsabilidades
• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years in protection and control system design and studies
• At least 3 years designing Pu0026C algorithms in a relay manufacturing environment
• Extensive experience in protection, automation, and control product development
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink; experience with RTDS, PSCAD, or ATP/EMTP
• Proven track record of publishing and presenting at industry forums
• Familiarity with electrical utilities standards and documentation
• Knowledge of modern protection, control and distribution automation trends
