The Legal Trainee will be part of the Legal Corporate department, supporting the team in the performance of the Legal function.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the review, drafting, and revision of a variety of legal agreements, including but not limited to non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), service agreements, consultancy contracts, and supplier agreements, under the supervision of the Legal Corporate team. Support may include identifying key legal risks, ensuring consistency with company policies, and helping maintain contract templates, etc.
Provide support in corporate housekeeping tasks, including the maintenance and organization of corporate records, preparation of board and shareholder resolutions, assistance with statutory filings, coordination with public notaries for notarization and filings, and preparation of Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation for banks, partners, and regulatory authorities
Conduct legal and business research on relevant topics, including case law, legal doctrine, national and international legislation, and industry-specific regulations, providing summaries and analysis to support decision-making and internal advisory work.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments applicable to OW’s operations and assist in updating internal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks accordingly.
Support the Legal Corporate team in developing and maintaining legal content for internal trainings and presentations, including materials on regulatory updates and corporate policies.
Provide additional assistance on a wide range of legal and administrative matters, as may be required by the Legal Corporate team.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Law degree or masters of law student.
LANGUAGES
Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
Good command of any other language will be an advantage.
