Major Incident Manager Malaga (hybrid) 6 Month FTC €40,000 - €42,000 p/a The Background We are partnered with a world class IT services provider based in Spain but with a global presence who are looking for an experienced Major Incident Manager to join them on an initial 6 month FTC. We’re looking for a Major Incident Manager who thrives under pressure and knows how to lead when the stakes are high. You’ll take charge of P1 / P2 incidents, cut through the noise, and drive recovery - fast, calm, and with absolute clarity. Here is what you’ll be accountable for: End-to-end ownership of Major / Severity Incidents , leading technical bridge calls and coordinating resolver teams to restore services fast Clear, confident stakeholder communication , delivering timely updates and acting as the trusted voice during high-pressure situations Accurate incident management , including timelines, impact assessment, PMIRs, and post-incident root-cause collaboration Continuous improvement , contributing to reporting, identifying process gaps, and strengthening Service Desk capability through guidance and training You… To be a successful Major Incident Manager you will have… Previous experience in a similar role managing Major Incidents Strong understanding of ITIL principles (especially Major Incident, Problem and Change Management) Confidence managing technical relationships and summarizing complex technical issues for different stakeholders Excellent leadership skills and highly organised The client offers an excellent benefits package that includes health insurance, professional development budget and corporate pension contribution amongst other things.
