Mercor is hiring experienced Musicians to evaluate generative musical AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab.You will assess model outputs across in different categories of music in your bilingual language.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate AI model output lyrics, voice generation, and other standardsScore quality of musical training dataExperience writing music in the domain language listed in the titleAble to understand directions in English languageRate AI-generated music samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality, using audio-engineering terminologyAnnotate songs in detail: genre/sub-genre classification, song structure, vocal/instrumental characteristics via a structured taxonomyIdeal QualificationsExperience working as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer for at least 3+ yearsEvidence of understanding musical performance, theory, and lyricsCollege degree in music, involving both performance, theory, and lyricsPast experience writing lyrical music in the domain language listed in the titleNative or near-native proficiency in both Spanish (ES) and EnglishProject TimelineStart Date: ImmediateDuration: Up to 6 monthsCommitment: Part-time, 10+ hours per weekWe consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.
