At Astek, we are looking for a Performance Test Engineer to lead the implementation and automation of non-functional testing for a critical low-latency system.Main responsibilities:Design and build automated non-functional testing frameworksExecute and analyze latency, capacity, and failover testsIdentify and troubleshoot performance issues across distributed systemsAnalyze system behavior under high load and optimize performanceCollaborate with development and infrastructure teamsContribute to continuous improvement of performance testing strategiesWho are you?5+ years of experience in performance testing / engineeringStrong experience with non-functional testing and automationDeep understanding of low-latency systems and networking conceptsProven experience troubleshooting across network, OS, and application layersEnglish: Full professional proficiencyTechnical StackLanguages: Python, Bash, C/C++Systems: Linux (advanced level)Monitoring: Grafana (or similar)DevOps & Automation: GitLab, Ansible, AirflowCloud/Containers: OpenShift / ArgoCDWho are we?Since 2015, Astek Iberia has been accompanying its customers in their development throughout Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Basque Country, Andalusia, Galicia, etc.).Founded in France in 1988, Astek is a global player in engineering and technology consulting, present in five continents and 25 countries.
