We are engineering a better tomorrow.Lockheed Martin España is seeking a hardware or systems engineer to lead technical oversight of Spanish content for a new radar signal processor. Your responsibilities will include:Provide technical oversight for supplier design efforts and integration of tactical equipment into the higher-level radar signal processorPerform requirement decomposition to develop product performance specifications, statements of work, and supplier data requirements for radar system suppliersParticipate in and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews of supplier designsSupport technical suppliers, conduct supplier visits, and validate supplier technical productsFunction as an interface between program and radar system leadership, and supplier development effortsEstablish verification plans and test procedures showing traceability to system and subsystems specificationsProvide oversight of component verification and qualification test activities, developing final verification artifactsSupport subsystem integration and test, driving any Spanish supplier issues to resolutionIdentify opportunities and support production activities within Spain.Required skills, qualifications and experience:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degreeFunctional knowledge of radar systemsExperience with hardware development at the component, subsystem, or system levelDemonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: system analysis, requirements development, hardware design, verification/qualification, or integration and testPast strong technical performance as an individual contributor, and ability to perform in a small team environmentAbility to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance at the SECRET level.Desired Skills:Advanced degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalentStrong technical background with experience in hardware development, test, and integrationExperience with requirement definition, documentation and verificationExperience with design validation and/or qualification testingFamiliarity/proficiency in supply chain management and subcontractsExperience writing test procedures, reports, and delivering test results to the customer in a professional mannerExcellent verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with members of the engineering/management staff and customer community.Lockheed Martin is committed to upholding principles of equal opportunity, fostering a work environment that is aligned with our core values of integrity, respect, and exceptional performance.
