In this position, you will support the development of projects and identify the budget for a specific functional area. In this role, you will be in charge of R&D Engineers in order to meet the requirements of product development projects.**This position reports to**:R&D Department Lead**Your responsibilities**:- Serving as a technical resource for internal and external contacts.- Creating technology roadmaps and providing input regarding technology strategy planning.- Planning and ensuring an optimal project portfolio for the team, and overseeing efficient project execution.- Recommending, developing, and improving processes and procedures to enhance local operations.- Evaluating local market requirements and innovation, and providing feedback on product, manufacturing and R&D strategies.- Overseeing and assisting with transfer of technology and knowledge between internal partners.- Contributing to technical bodies both inside and outside ABB, and promoting ABB's R&D internally and externally.**Your background**:- More than 5 years of experience in Automatic Mobile Robots, working as engineer or manager within a product development team.- Sound knowledge of leadership, innovation, and problem solving for the automation market.- Knowledge of technical construction files and safety regulations.- A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.- A engineer in technical field, preferable informatic or automation.- Fluent in Spanish and English.- The role and function request to be on site.**Benefits**:- Meal allowance- Flexible work practices- Company mobile phone- Wellbeing program- Employee Share Acquisition Plan**More about us**:
