Your mission We are looking to recruit a professional to prepare and execute R&D&I projects, technological services (analysis and testing, technical advisory) and technical training for companies within the Packaging Department, Technologies area. Development of packaging demonstrators and/or semi-finished products using conventional plastic processing equipment. Participation in projects (both preparation and execution) as a member of working groups or as Principal Investigator, coordinating activities within the Packaging field. Identification of project ideas (internal or proposed by clients). Preparation of technical service proposals and execution of these services. Preparation of technical reports and results documentation. Ensuring the proper operation of the equipment used, including performing or supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, internal calibrations, etc. Identification and selection of new equipment and/or accessories according to needs and feasibility. Selection of materials and additives for the development of thermoplastic compounds. Participation in scientific dissemination, technology scouting, outreach and communication activities (participation in trade fairs, sector events, writing technical-commercial articles for industry magazines, etc.). Participation in training activities related to their area of expertise. Advisory services to companies regarding environmental legislation and regulations related to the plastics sector, particularly in the Packaging field. Direct contact with clients to understand their needs and establish collaboration opportunities. Your profile High analytical capacity, organization, planning, initiative, creativity, flexibility, adaptability to change, customer orientation, leadership skills, teamwork and a strong people-oriented mindset (cooperation and empathy) are qualities we seek in every role at AIMPLAS. Required education Higher university degree and Master's degree, preferably a PhD in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Additional training A specialized Master's degree in plastic materials and processing technologies will be considered an asset. High level of English and Spanish, demonstrable. Desirable experience in: Processing of plastic materials through extrusion and/or injection. Knowledge of the packaging sector. Knowledge of plastic material characterization techniques: FTIR, DSC, TGA, optical and electron microscopy, as well as mechanical and thermal properties. Experience in the preparation of R&D&I projects within national and European public funding programmes will be valued.
