Your Role and Responsibilities As a Digital Technical Specialist aligned to Storage brands, you’ll be a collaborative technical expert and trusted advisor working with and across your clients, IBM’s broader sales teams, and Business Partners. You’ll understand clients’ business and technical requirements within the current competitive landscape and, combining this with your knowledge of IBM’s product suite, you’ll present value‑driving solutions that compel clients to invest in us. A typical day may involve: Team’s Storage Expert: Serving as the storage expert on your team. Early Sales Support: Offering technical support in the early sales stages, including demos and workshops. Collaborative Engagement: Collaborating with IBM sales teams and specialists. Value Emphasis: Emphasizing the value of IBM products. Digital Brand Building: Building a trusted personal brand across digital platforms. Required Education Associate’s Degree/College Diploma Preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree Required Technical and Professional Expertise Professional Requirements: Willing to relocate to Valencia (Spain) for up to 3 years and then relocate back to home country. Technical Requirements: Understanding/Experience of Storage Systems; SAN, NAS, Cloud Storage, etc. Understanding/Experience of Data Protection and Backup. Understanding/Experience of Network Infrastructure. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Data & AI Market Expertise: Data & AI market knowledge to be a trusted client advisor (training on IBM’s Storage offerings is provided).
