Mission
As a Sales Engineer, your primary mission within the Business Development Division will be to support customers through the sales cycle and mission execution playing a primary role in reviewing customer requirements, writing technical proposals, defining mission parameters and deliverables. You will assist in ensuring the successful launch of the customer’s mission, promoting customer satisfaction throughout the process.
Responsibilities
Support the Sales & Customers department in the commercialization of the MIURA family of launcher services.
Prepare and deliver high-quality technical proposals for launch services.
Support customer’s mission success by tracking customer needs and aligning them with the company’s capabilities.
Collaborate with internal departments (Engineering, Project Management, Mission Analysis, etc.) to support technical proposals and project delivery.
Organize and attend customer meetings as required (primarily online), providing follow-up reports.
Utilise company tools (e.g., CRM, databases) in line with data quality standards.
Develop and maintain Sales & Customers department documentation (e.g., procedures, templates, Statement of Work, Payload User Guides, Interface Requirements Documents, Interface Control Documents).
Contribute to the development and upkeep of sales and marketing materials (e.g., brochures, sales presentations, commercial decks).
Provide support to other Business Development areas and company teams as needed.
Contribute in achieving the team’s KPIs and OKRs by supporting relevant activities and tasks.
Report to the Sales & Customers Manager.
Necessary Requirements
For this position of Sales Engineer, the main requirements are:
Experience and background
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent.
Over 2 years of relevant experience in the Space sector in one of the following areas: launch operations, satellite missions, satellite interface, separation systems.
Understanding of Satellites and payloads accommodations on launchers.
Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
Knowledge of commercial launcher activities.
Experience in customer management, project management, or contract management.
Technical and language skills
Technical background in Satellites and payloads accommodations on launchers.
Conversational in Spanish.
Proficiency in CRM tools.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Desired Requirements
In addition, the following requirements would be desirable:
Previous exposure to environmental testing, thermal vacuum, vibration, electromagnetic compatibility, as well as test methods and validation applicable to Satellites is highly regarded.
Previous exposure to B2B sales is valued.
Familiarity with CRM tools and databases is an advantage.
Other languages such as French are beneficial.
