From Hays, we are seeking a Sales Manager for an important automotive company focused on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) systems, based in Madrid.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy in both national and international markets, managing key relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and other stakeholders within the automotive sector. This role will have a strategic impact on the company’s growth, driving business development and the expansion of its customer portfolio.
Main Responsibilities
Define and execute the commercial strategy for the HVAC product line within the automotive sector.
Manage and develop relationships with key clients, including OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Identify new business opportunities and lead prospecting activities and market entry processes.
Negotiate contracts, commercial agreements, and techno‑economic conditions.
Collaborate closely with the Engineering, Product, and Operations departments to ensure the correct delivery of solutions to clients.
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to propose improvements and new solutions.
Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and commercial KPIs.
Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and international meetings.
Requirements
At least 5–7 years of prior experience in commercial roles within the automotive sector.
Knowledge of the HVAC business or thermal/energy systems applied to automotive (highly valued).
Experience managing OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Results‑oriented profile with strong negotiation skills and strategic vision.

Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
