Your mission We are looking for talent for our Commercial Department, within the Business Division, to develop business in Italy. Remote work. Location: Italy (residence in Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia-Romagna or Piedmont will be positively valued). Periodic travel to our headquarters in Valencia (Spain) will be required. The position offered involves the consultative sale of R&D&I projects, technological services (analysis and testing, technical consulting), and technical training to companies. We are looking for a candidate with higher education, based in Italy, native Italian speaker, with a high level of English and Spanish, and a strong attitude toward developing a professional career in business and sales of products with high technological value. High availability to travel (nationally and internationally). Driving licence required. What will your day-to-day look like? Prospecting and expanding the portfolio of new clients in the target area. Commercial visits to clients and reporting on them. Attendance at trade fairs, conferences, B2B meetings, and sectoral seminars, both national and international. Institutional relations with public administrations, associations, universities, laboratories, etc. Support in the organisation of events (conferences, seminars, courses, etc.) in the target area. Support to the Marketing and Communication Departments for the promotion of the centre's products within the target area. Proposing and implementing measures to improve business development results, increase sales, and achieve set objectives. Proposing and launching commercial campaigns to promote services requiring such action. Gathering and analysing trends in the target area and drafting corresponding reports. Follow-up of issued quotations. Analysis and reporting on competitors' activities in the target area. Keeping the line manager and the organisation informed of any matters that may impact business performance, whether positively or negatively. Addressing, reporting, and assisting in the management of client complaints and claims. Your profile A high level of analytical capacity, organisation, planning, initiative, creativity, leadership, flexibility, adaptability to change, customer orientation, teamwork, and a strong vocation for people (cooperation and empathy) are qualities we seek in any position at AIMPLAS. Required education: University degree (preferably scientific or technical). Native-level Italian, English (minimum B2), Spanish (minimum B1). Additional training (desirable): Master's degree, specialised diploma, or postgraduate studies in plastic materials, plastic manufacturing processes, and related areas such as packaging, automotive, construction, recycling, or waste management. Training in Marketing, Sales, or Commercial Management. Previous professional experience will be valued (experience in the plastics sector is desirable, but experience in consultancy, sales, or technical fields such as quality, production, project management, or R&D&I will also be considered). Essential: Category B driving licence. Current residence, or willingness to relocate, in Italy (northern area: Lombardy, Modena, etc.). Availability to travel nationally and internationally. Experience: One to two years of experience in the following areas: Consultative sales of R&D&I projects, technological services (analysis and testing, technical consulting), and technical training to companies. Experience in the plastics sector is highly valued, but experience in consultancy, sales, or technical aspects (quality, production, project management, R&D&I) is also considered.
