As adoption continues to grow, the focus is on strengthening core CRM capabilities, enhancing sales processes and enabling divisions with scalable solutions.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Salesforce CRM Analyst/Developer to support divisional needs, contribute to solution enhancements, and ensure the platform delivers tangible business value.
Position Overview
The Salesforce CRM Analyst will be responsible for supporting the evolution and deployment of Salesforce solutions across divisions with a primary focus on Europe.
The role combines:
- Business analysis and process understanding
- Solution design and configuration
- Hands-on Salesforce development
You will work closely with the Global CRM Lead and CRM Tea, contributing to improvements and implementations while respecting ITW’s decentralized operating model.
The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce expertise, business process acumen, and a transformation mindset, with the ability to translate business needs into practical and sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Enhancements
- Contribute to CRM projects and rollouts at divisional level.
- Support requirements gathering and solution design workshops.
- Deliver enhancements such as:
- Process automation
- UX improvements
- Better reporting and dashboards
- Work in Agile frameworks, managing user stories, backlog, and sprint deliverables.
Divisional CRM Support & Continuous Improvement
- Support Salesforce usage across divisions, primarily in Europe.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into practical, scalable CRM solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, data quality, and user experience.
- Ensure solutions remain aligned with core templates and best practices, while allowing divisional flexibility.
Salesforce Configuration & Development
- Design and implement solutions using a mix of:
- Declarative tools (Flows, approval processes, layouts)
- Programmatic development (Apex, LWC)
- Develop and maintain:
- Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs
- Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Balance configuration vs custom development for simplicity and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
Platform Operations (Europe Scope)
- Support day-to-day Salesforce operations:
- User setup, permissions, roles
- Data management and imports
- Issue resolution and system monitoring
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and data consistency.
- Collaborate with Data Stewards on:
- Data quality
- Deduplication
- Data governance practices
Position Requirements
General
- Strong analytical and structured mindset.
- Business-oriented approach with the ability to understand sales processes.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Excellent English communication skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Programming background (e.g., Java or similar).
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Salesforce CRM roles.
- Experience working with business stakeholders in operational environments.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator + Platform Developer I/II preferred).
- Advanced Salesforce administration and configuration skills.
- Proven hands-on development experience:
- Apex
- Aura/Lightning Web Components
- Strong knowledge of:
- Salesforce data model
- SOQL/SOSL
- Security model (profiles, roles, permission sets)
- Experience with integrations (APIs, SAP/ERP systems).
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps).
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to support business analysis, development, testing, and documentation.
- Experience with Power BI, data analytics, and data visualization.
Location: Spain. Candidates must be based in Spain, preferably Barcelona metropolitan area or within reasonable commuting distance.
