About the job Senior Data Engineer (AdTech)Our customer is a product company with a truly global presence, specializing in mobile app monetization. They provide a platform that helps developers grow their businesses through intelligent mediation and cutting-edge data tools. The team is composed of international professionals dedicated to building history-defining solutions for the mobile industry.We are looking for a Data Engineer who will play a key role in building and operating a high-scale data platform that powers our machine learning, analytics, and core product features.Our product processes remaining large, complex data streams, so were looking for someone whos confident working with high-volume, high-performance systems.You will work on end-to-end data pipelines, optimize performance, and shape the data architecture, collaborating closely with ML, MLOps, and product teams in a fast-paced environment.This role is a hybrid position based in Barcelona office.What You'll DriveDesign, build, and maintain batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines on Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables);Define and manage a scalable data architecture combining Databricks with OLAP engines (ClickHouse and/or Druid);Orchestrate and test data workflows for reliability and automation;Optimize Spark jobs, schemas, and partitions for performance and stability;Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and databases;Develop internal tools to automate data and business workflows;Collaborate with data science, MLOps, and product teams to support ML and analytics use cases.Who You AreAdTech Domain experience or a closely related field;3–5+ years of professional data engineering experience;Solid experience with data lakes (Delta tables) and data warehouses;Hands-on use of orchestration tools (Airflow or Dagster);Cloud experience on AWS (S3, EC2);Practical experience with OLAP databases (ClickHouse and/or Apache Druid);Strong problem-solving ability in a startup-style environment.Nice to havePrior hands-on experience with DatabricksExperience building or supporting ML data platformsWhat You'll GetCareer Growth: Professional development opportunities and a clear path for advancement within a fast-growing environmentWork-Life Balance: Flexible work arrangements and a culture that respects personal timeRelocation Support: Assistance with relocating to a vibrant hub in BarcelonaImpactful Projects: The chance to work on high-stakes ML projects that influence the global mobile ecosystem.Sounds like a challenge for you?Click "Apply"!
