Currently we are looking for a professional senior field service engineer for maritime diesel engines to strengthen our service team and provide outstanding service to our clients.
Your Responsibilities

Perform preventive as well as corrective maintenance on diesel engines and components, according to applicable guidelines and technical documentation.
Inspect installations and understand how to interpret and read a P&ID diagram.
Perform commissioning on diesel engines, systems and related electronic control equipment.
Analyse a failure which could be of mechanical, or electrical nature.
Updating reports with technical information commissioning, registration of any problems during start-up, registration on the various business systems.
Responsible onsite senior engineer and service team leader.
Transmitting of knowledge and training to the other field engineers.
Participate in customer’s local meetings.

Your Competences

A relevant technical education.
Ability to read and understand electrical/process schematics and mechanical interfaces and work with computers, electronic control systems.
Preferably, experience with exhaust gas cleaning systems.
Knowledge/experience with Yanmar and or MAN/MAK/Wartsila diesel engines.
Good reporting skills in English language.
Customer-friendly and solution-oriented, a team player, the ability to work independently and in a team.
Ability of decision making towards solving problems while working under pressure and effectively communicates these solutions to co-workers and customers.
