About Asabys Asabys Partners is a leading venture capital firm based in Barcelona, investing in breakthrough health technologies across biotech, medical technologies, and digital health. With a strong track record of backing transformative companies and translating cutting-edge science into real-world impact, we are now launching a new fund dedicated to company creation originating from Spanish academia, and selectively, to seed investments in emerging biotech and medtech ventures. We are expanding our team and seeking a new (Senior) Investment Analyst or Associate to join our efforts in addressing some of the major health challenges and become an integral part of this new effort. The role is open to both Investment Analysts and Associates, depending on experience and autonomy. The level of responsibility and decision-making will be adapted accordingly. Key Responsibilities Proactively source disruptive and impactful scientific projects from Spanish academia, research centres and hospitals Analyse inbound deal flow to identify potential investment opportunities Identify promising scientific entrepreneurs in the healthcare space: cultivating own network and attending conferences and events Support in the scientific, strategic and financial evaluation and due diligence of new company-creation projects. Support the Fund team in the investment execution process, including pre-seed investment. Support operations in pre-seed and seed investments. Track portfolio company performance and sustainability metrics and information. Support in Investor reporting. Portfolio management activities: engage and manage relationships with portfolio companies and support them where they may need help. Requirements PhD in Life Sciences Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience, in a Life Sciences VC, a pharma/biotech/med tech company, a technology
