Overview
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be the global technical reference for the infrastructure team, driving improvements across the enterprise network and leading strategic projects. You collaborate with international teams to resolve complex issues and deploy standardized, secure architectures. You will shape global network standards and leverage analytics and AI tools to boost performance, resilience, and automation. This role offers impact across multi-site environments in a highly technical setting.

ResponsabilidadesServe as the primary global escalation authority for complex network incidents (L2/L3) across LAN, WAN, wireless, and security perimetersLead international networking projects from architecture design through global deployment and validationDesign, configure, and optimize Cisco Enterprise infrastructure (IOS-XE, Catalyst, SD-WAN, wireless)Manage global network access control and segmentation using Cisco ISE (802.1X, MAB, cert-based auth, profiling)Define, document, and enforce global network standards, reference architectures, firewall lifecycle governance, and runbooksCollaborate with international teams and vendors across time zonesUtilize operational analytics, telemetry, and AI productivity tools to optimize performance and automate workflowsDrive network modernization, site resiliency, zero-trust controls, and high-availability without micromanagement
Requisitos principalesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent enterprise network experience8+ years of progressive network engineering experience in global or multi-site environmentsProven experience as a technical escalation lead and managing international IT projects independentlyStrong Cisco Enterprise routing & switching expertise (IOS-XE, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, HA)Mandatory Cisco ISE experience for enterprise NAC and 802.1XMandatory Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN / Viptela experience (controllers and routing policies)Experience with Cisco Secure Firewall / FMC and perimeter firewall migrationsCCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security strongly preferred (CCIE a plus)Familiarity with AI productivity tools (Copilot, AIOps) for operationsFluent English (C1) for collaboration; professional working Spanishstrong communicationautonomyproblem-solvingCisco IOS-XEBGPOSPF
