Project Engineer for AC and HVDC Subsea Cable Technology (m/f/x) Join the Fichtner team as a Project Engineer for AC and HVDC Subsea Cable Technology (m/f/x). Your Tasks : Support subsea cable projects (AC and HVDC) with cable engineering, design, technology and manufacturing know-how Develop HV cable specifications for inner array or export cable systems Review cable design and manufacturing documents Prepare and attend supplier and factory audits as well as cable type tests, and support the cable manufacturing supervision Backoffice engineering for NCR and punch items from the cable manufacturing process Manage the interface to the cable installation Identify and report technical risks Contribute to the overall optimization of inner array grid layouts and export cable connections for offshore wind farms Report to package and/or project managers and liaise with colleagues from other work Your Profile : Master, Bachelor or equivalent in electrical or industrial engineering Several years of relevant subsea cable engineering experience Familiar with developing or working with EPC tender, design and manufacturing documents Experience in the field of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and/or AC power transmission Experience in offshore wind and/or interconnector projects Fluency in English Willingness to undertake regular trips to the project countries Valid EU work permit Corporate Benefits : Permanent contract, competitive salary A modern digital infrastructure, mobile working, flexible working hours A growing team in a start-up environment backed up by a large global operating company The opportunity to take responsibility from the start Exciting international projects in the energy industry Culture of staff appreciation, equal opportunity and attractive career prospects in an international job environment with staff originating from 66 nations Fichtner is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
