Our client is investing in building cutting-edge data platforms on AWS , enabling teams across the business to leverage data for innovation, insights, and strategic decision-making. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a global team focused on the development of a scalable, secure, and high-performance data platform . This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong background in cloud technologies, data engineering, and software development , who is comfortable taking full ownership of solutions from design to deployment. Key Responsibilities Design and build scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines Develop high-quality, production-ready software with end-to-end ownership Work with AWS services to build cloud-native solutions Contribute to the design and optimisation of Snowflake data warehouse solutions Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver business value Ensure code quality, testing, and best engineering practices Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the platform Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative environment REQUIREMENTS ‼️Essential Skills Strong experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C# Proven experience with AWS (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, ECS, EventBridge, etc.) Solid experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data platforms Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouse technologies Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure automation Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (or similar orchestration tools) Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures Strong understanding of data modelling, performance optimisation, and query tuning ‼️Nice to Have Experience with dbt, SnapLogic, Ataccama, or similar tools Exposure to streaming or real-time data architectures Knowledge of data governance and security best practices Experience working in enterprise-scale data platforms Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure or GCP) A perfect candidate is...
