Job Overview We are looking for experienced leaders wishing to pursue a career in Operations Management. The role focuses on leadership in the Transportation team across our fulfillment centers, supply chain, and transportation execution teams. Responsibilities Understand business issues and challenges of transportation operations; identify strengths/weaknesses and suggest areas for improvement. Map business requirements, analyze workflows, design solutions, and prepare functional specifications. Be data‑driven; develop and report performance metrics, executive updates, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to identify opportunities for improving customer experience. Deep dive into emerging industry practices and apply them to solve business problems. Design, develop, pilot, and roll out enterprise‑wide programs for performance improvement, cycle‑time improvement, delivery experience, financial auditing, and alternate delivery services. Develop standard operating procedures. Set and meet operational goals, strategic planning, and forecasting. Lead a team of business analysts, program managers, or area managers. Lead process improvements. Demonstrated Abilities We seek a smart and analytical individual, passionate about operations, who wants to drive change and build an organization. Ideal candidates will leverage strong analytical skills, communication, and big‑picture thinking. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of employee and performance management experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience. Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
