Experteer Overview
In this role you design and validate embedded software for ECM and hybrid vehicle control systems, helping to advance Horse Technologies’ powertrain solutions. You work within a cross-functional, international team to translate requirements into robust software specifications and test strategies. You’ll lead MIL validation activities and support calibration teams with software methods and data. Your work shapes how hybrid powertrains perform, delivering quality and progress toward sustainable mobility. This is a hands-on role with broad impact across development, validation and vehicle bench activities.

• Design embedded software algorithms and control strategies for ECM and hybrid vehicle control systems
• Translate system requirements into software specifications aligned with standards
• Develop and maintain software specifications respecting timelines and quality
• Create validation plans and test strategies
• Perform Model‑in‑the‑Loop validation, including test case development and reporting
• Support calibration teams with methods, datasets and documentation
• Prepare technical reports and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Contribute to software development, validation, troubleshooting, capitalization and vehicle/bench validation activities
Responsabilidades
• Proven track record in embedded software development and validation
• Experience with Model-Based Design (MATLAB/Simulink) and embedded software architectures
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems or Computer Engineering preferred)
• Excellent software design and validation methods for embedded systems; strong documentation and reporting skills
• Good understanding of ICE, hybrid powertrains and their control systems (combustion, air management, after-treatment, torque management)
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills; proactive and creative mindset in multicultural teams
• Knowledge of automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business and transformation ambitions
• Excellent command of English and Spanish; French valued
