Experteer Overview In this role you design and validate embedded software for ECM and hybrid vehicle control, shaping key powertrain software across our internationalteam. You translate requirements into robust specs, drive model-based development, and support calibration and validation activities. You will report progress to stakeholders and collaborate across disciplines to enable reliable, high-performance hybrid systems. - Design embedded software algorithms and control strategies for ECM and hybrid vehicle control systems
- Translate functional requirements into software specifications aligned with internal standards
- Develop and maintain software specifications to meet timelines and quality targets
- Create validation plans and test strategies, including functional and dysfunctional validation
- Perform MIL validation activities with test case development and reporting
- Support calibration teams with methods, datasets and documentation
- Prepare technical reports and communicate development progress to stakeholders
- Contribute to software development, validation, troubleshooting, capitalization and vehicle/bench validation activitiesResponsabilidades
- Proven track record in embedded software development and validation
- Experience with Model-Based Design (MATLAB/Simulink) and embedded software architectures
- Bachelor in Engineering (Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems or Computer Engineering preferred)
- Strong skills in software design and validation methods for embedded systems and technical documentation
- Good understanding of ICE, hybrid powertrains and their control systems (combustion, air management, after-treatment, torque management)
- Problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration abilities; proactive and creative mindset
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international teams
- Knowledge of the automotive sector and Horse Powertrain business
