You will be involved throughout the full product life cycle, from requirements definition to testing and integration, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure high reliability and performance in demanding environments.ResponsibilitiesAs a Solar Array Electrical Engineer at DHV Technology, your main responsibilities will include:Requirement Definition: Define and derive customer and product requirements in close collaboration with Systems Engineering and Project Management teams.3D Mechanical Design: Perform 3D CAD design using SolidWorks, including solar cell laydown optimization, electronic component positioning, and complex harness routing.Electrical Architecture & Schematics: Design detailed electrical schematics in strict accordance with mission requirements and solar array architecture constraints.Component Selection: Select, trade off, and procure space-grade electrical and electronic components (EEE parts) to meet strict environmental and product requirements.Electrical Analysis: Perform critical electrical analyses, including power budget calculations, worst-case analyses, and component derating, to verify design margins and compliance.Technical Documentation: Author, review, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to justify the design during formal reviews (PDR/CDR).AIT & Testing: Author electrical test procedures, supervise test campaigns, evaluate test data/results, and generate formal test reports.Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Interface and collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful product integration.Education and Requirements:To be considered for this position, the following qualifications are required:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Aerospace, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering.At least 1–2 years of professional experience in a similar engineering role.Fluent level of English, both written and spoken.Technical CompetenciesCandidates should demonstrate strong knowledge in the following areas:CAD Modeling: Proficiency in 3D design and mechanical modeling using SolidWorks or CATIA.Electrical Design: Experience with PCB layout and design tools, particularly Altium Designer, is highly valued.Space Standards: Knowledge of ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) and other relevant space industry standards is a strong asset.Soft SkillsWe are looking for candidates with the following attributes:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proactive attitude and high level of autonomy.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.Ability to work effectively in dynamic and deadline-driven environments.What we offerA full-time, on-site role based in Málaga, Spain.Immediate start date.Joining a multidisciplinary and highly qualified team.Working on exciting international projects in the space sector.Relocation package for national and international mobility.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.Ready to Shape the Future of the Space Industry?If you're passionate about electronics and space technology and want to join a fast-growing, innovation-driven company working on high-impact international projects, DHV Technology is your place.Apply now and be part of the future of space.
