ANDRITZ is looking for a Technical sales Engineer for its Pumps Division (EPU), based in Madrid. Your focus will be to facilitating sales by establishing a strong relationship with colleagues in Sales, Product Management, Quality and Engineering. You will have a strong personal drive to manage complex project tenders and assemble competitive solutions that meet customer needs and expectations. You should be able to effectively address customer questions and close technical evaluations while maximizing the value proposition to the customer. Good cooperation skills, open mind, and positive attitude are a must.The job will be based in Madrid, Spain.Your job responsibilities and tasks are to:You will be working on international projects involving large engineered centrifugal pumps, with a primary focus on water industry applications such as pumping stations and desalination plants.Lead and manage technical inquiries, selecting the most suitable hydraulic equipment and driver, and compiling a value-adding proposal. Review design and quotation documents to ensure all technical elements align with client specifications and expectations.Provide technical support to clients and sales teams.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams like sales, product management, hydraulic layout team, engineering/design, supply chain and other departments to ensure solution feasibility and alignment.Ensure that all technical aspects of the offer are complete, validated, and aligned with cost calculation and delivery requirements.Handover of documentation to the Project Team following contract award.Visiting customers on demand to represent the technical function in customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations - clarifying complex topics and supporting sales with technical expertise.Contribute to continuous product improvement by providing feedback and insights from project experience.Support the ongoing development and optimization of tools and processes to enhance the bid process.We are looking for candidate with the following experience & expertise:A degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline is required.
