Technical support Specialist Electrics
Provide technical expertise and support, assisting on‑site or remotely to field technicians with installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs for the wind turbine’s electrical system.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical/service issues; develop and document technical solutions in incident records and communicate measures to requestors.
Create knowledge articles and troubleshooting guidelines.
Identify clusters and prepare issues for product failure analysis; align with relevant stakeholders (engineering, product technical management, and technical management) and regional claim handlers.
Deliver training on company products, processes, and technologies; select appropriate training aids and ensure participants comply with occupational health and safety rules during training.
Analyze course evaluations to judge the effectiveness of training sessions and implement suggestions for improvements; update training materials and documentation in alignment with the global training network.
Structure and conduct onboarding and qualification of new trainer colleagues aligned with the Global Technical Academy; take over regional training product ownership and act as multiplier within the regional training team and as contact to the Global Technical Academy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or certification as an electrician or mechanic with a minimum of five years of experience.
High‑ or low‑voltage certificates are beneficial.
Proficient in spoken and written English (C1).
Two years of experience in wind turbines; experience creating technical documentation; accustomed to working in an international environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Willingness to travel.
